We are grateful to God for the mandate to encourage prayer. For those who attend this gathering and desire to participate, please follow the protocol that has been established so that the vision that God has given would be our objective.
What America’s Altar is About
America’s Altar is a place for the individual heart to come near to God. It is a place of quiet and personal reflection as to a person realizes that they need the unsurprising grace and mercy for themselves and for others. It is a non-religious place to simply draw near to the Lord.
What America’s Altar is not
This is not a traditional church gathering. It is not designed for what you would expect at a typical revival or corporate prayer experience. In fact, it is far from that. Though there are moments of reading of the scripture and a selected word from assigned team members, it is 99% for the people to simply draw near the Lord and for the simple reading of the scriptures.
Letting God Move Upon Hearts
Unless the Lord, moves upon the hearts of people, people will not realize their need for Him. We are extremely sensitive to this. Therefore, we allow an atmosphere that encourages a non-intrusive approach to people which allow them to inquire of God. Should people have questions we then have a unique method of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ that is effective.
